Our organization

“Friends of the Southwest Brunswick Branch Library” may be a lot of words, but we are organized for a single purpose: to support the development of excellent library service for all residents throughout Brunswick County. We are a nonprofit membership organization made up entirely of volunteers who are passionate about the importance of the role of our library within the community.

How we spend our funds

The money we collect through member dues, donations, grants, and fundraising is all used to purchase new books, movies, library equipment and supplies, sponsor programming for children and adults, and support the library staff in meeting their goals in our community.

Join us

If you share our love of books and libraries, we invite you to join us and become a Friend. Dues are paid annually and there is a membership level for every budget! The Friends is run by a volunteer Board of Directors and meetings are open to all members. Click below to print an application form or pick one up at the library’s circulation desk.

To become a new member or renew an existing membership, click on the top right hand corner of the membership form below.
